 Sushant Singh Rajput was born on 21 January 1986. He was born in Patna to Krishna Kumar Singh and Usha Singh. His ancestral home is in the Patna district. His father is a retired technical officer and works at the Bihar State Handloom Corporation in Patna. He was the youngest of five siblings and was nicknamed Gulshan. One of his sisters, Mitu Singh, is a state-level cricketer. After the death of his mother, the entire family broke up and moved from Patna to Delhi.

Education


He received his education from St. Karen's High School, Patna, and Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Delhi. According to him, in 2003, he gained seventh place in the access examination of Delhi Technological University and took admission there to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering. 
He has also been a winner of the National Olympiad in Physics. He cleared a total of 11 engineering entrance exams, including the Indian School of Mines University. Due to his involvement in theatre and dance, he had little time for studies. Due to this, his studies got disrupted, and he left the university. To pursue a career in acting, he left engineering after completing only three years of the four-year course. While a student at the university, he enrolled in Shiamak Davar's Nritya Shala. Some of his classmates at the Nritya Shala were interested in acting and attended Barry John's drama classes, which is where Sushant got the idea of ​​making a career in acting. In 2005, he got a chance to join Shiamak Dawar's dance troupe for the 51st Filmfare Awards.

Career


Rajput was in a famous relationship with his Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande for six years. The two separated in 2016. Apart from acting, Sushant was also interested in astronomy and astrophysics. He also founded some technology and social concern-related companies in which he was also a co-director. Sushant Singh Rajput worked in more than 15 films.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s first play was named Pukaar, which he performed in 2007.

Death


Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered expired in his Bandra, Mumbai home on 14 June 2020. Primary records presented that the cause of death was suicide, and he had been distressed from despair for the past six months. After his death, Mumbai Police began investigating the case, and several people were questioned. His postmortem report stated the cause of death as "suffocation". On October 3, Dr Sudhir Gupta, head of the AIIMS Delhi team formed by the CBI to assist in the investigation, said that Sushant's death was a case of suicide and not the alleged murder.
